There was nothing beyond me
Far and wide
Sunshine all around
All sand and earth
By my side..
I walked alone
Through emptiness
Till a sudden glow
Merged the whole sight
There was before me..
A jungle thick
With a beautiful mountain
And a river that swayed
Like silk..
It seemed as if they could
Read my mind
So,gave me love and
Made me shine
There was mirth
I can't explain
And peace that almost
Swept all pain
There was no one
Whom I could see
But their presence
Oh Yes!I could feel
Was that eternity
That I saw?
If yes,I wish
I could just hold on..!!
this poem I reallly REALLY like because I love it when you step in the jungle! the whole idea about eternity and you reaching a place that has always been somewhere in your mind, the ideal is great! :)
