Mirth encircling
Enchanting peace
Moments so satisfying
Every second fulfilling
And then,
A whiff of air
Enters the window
Rattles the door
Something shakens
The unknown within
Can find no reason
For the crawling tear
I go deep down
Water surmounts
Shore seems distant
I was there a minute before
Can still hear my acquaintances
I was one of them
Shared the mind
Why now does it seem
So inexplicable
I feel a thrust
Or a hand above
I am no more
Below the surface
I float above
The whiff of air
Pulls me through
The friction seems
To awaken me
I am thrown back
With a thump
So light
Right back into
The moments that I
Recognized
The voices raised
The faces cleared
I am once again
Part of the world!!!
